WHAT IS S.A.D.L.E.?
SADLE IS:
- Helping our communities, our churches, our schools, our co-workers, our businesses, in whatever ways possible.
- Scholarships
- Feeding the homeless and anyone within various communities who are hungry.
- Educating in health issues, such as cancer, homelessness, and nutrition, Support the Blossom Program, and start new areas in urban neighbors where youth can plant and grow fresh produce.
- Organizing community events; example Project Holiday, Back to school events
- Supporting the Christian Education partnerships
- Fundraising events which cater to community enhancement, education, health awareness, and fun
- Sadie's Legacy of Empathy, Encouragement, Empowerment, and Education too!
Who Was Sadie Glover
Sadie Glover was born to Geneva Glover and John Gordon on January 24, 1950 in Philadelphia. Sadie completed most of senior high school education at Kensington High School, but due to family matters had to remove herself prior to graduation.
Yet, she went on to earn her G. E. D. She also furthered her education by graduating from LaSalle University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at the very young age of 50. Continuing her education, she earned her Certification in Human Resource Management (PHR) from Villanova University.
Sadie Glover was committed to education and investing in the next generation. Her commitment has influenced her children to the point, that they have all earned a degree in some form.
Sadie believed in “legacy”.
S.A.D.L.E., Limited (Sadie's Legacy of Education) was created to help students pursue higher education goals. Sadie was a great friend to all and today has a living testimony of how she has touched the lives of so many in such a positive way.

You will be supporting and promoting the semi-annual Scholarship Banquet, where inspiring students are recognized for excellence and awarded tuition grants for higher education; June 2016
You will be supporting Women of Faith & Hope, Inc. Education and support for women diagnosed with, and at-risk for breast cancer
You will be supporting higher education and the dreams of youth of all ages
You will be supporting the feeding of the homeless, job search assistance, grant writing assistance, and other social service information
You will be supporting Christian Education through Faith & Love Center Pentecostal Church as well as Antioch Christian Community Church; where both are making a difference in community outreach and Christian Education
You will be a part of a new non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and help determine the future
You will be supporting the Blossum Program, where Ed Mitinger & Janice Chorba teach urban youth how to produce fresh fruits & vegetables in neighborhoods where they otherwise would not be provided
